SBI online account opening: There may be several reasons to apply for an SBI account online or through an SBI account opening form.

For customers who want to save for the future and earn interest rates on deposits (check the interest rate on the savings account), opening a State Bank of India Savings Account is probably their best bet.
Today I will tell you how to apply for an online account or how to complete an online account opening form.
Steps to Open a Savings Account at State Bank of India Online:
Visit the State Bank of India homepage.
Click “Apply Now”.
Choose “Saved Account”.
Complete the application form – name, address, date of birth and various other details – and click on Submit.
After submitting the details, the bank will provide the applicant with the required KYC documents – identity and address proof – to visit the branch.
After submitting the documents, the bank will begin the verification process.
After approval, the account will be activated within 3-5 business days.
Detailed step 3 (as on the SBI website):
Step 1: Carefully fill in the Customer Information section
This section must be filled out for every person who wants to open an account at an SBI branch.
Part A is mandatory. Once you complete Part A and save the form, a temporary Customer Reference Number (TCRN) will be generated that you should note somewhere for reference.
It will later be used to edit the form or fill out a partially completed form and attach the customer to the account opening form.
Other parts of the form can only be filled out if you have completed Part A.
Step 2: Carefully fill out the Account Information section
Part A: Types of accounts and services required.
Part B: Nomination Form.
Important things to follow:
The temporary account reference number (TARN) is used for future edits and printing of the form so you must note it.
When you successfully complete the form, an SMS will be sent to the mobile number provided on the applicant’s mobile (TRN – Temporary Account Reference Number) to the applicant’s mobile number.

Step 3: Read the Savings Bank Rules
You should read the rules mildly before signing the account opening form.
When you apply for a bank account, you mean that you have read and understood the rules and that you will comply with the bank’s rules. You can still print rules after generation.
৪. When you have completed the form, print the form and submit it to the nearest branch of SBI or the bank you wish to apply.
