The full form of PFMS is Public Financial Management System which means you can check from home whether the money of government schemes like school ship, old age pension, agricultural scheme and government scheme has been deposited in your bank account.

How to apply online for PFMS

Select an option from the sort of Registration dropdown list. It is mandatory field and can’t be let blank.

Type Agency Name within the text box provided. It is a compulsory field and maximum of 100 characters.

Type Registration Number in the text box provided. Registration Number is additionally mandatory and may contain maximum of 100 alpha numeric characters.

Type Registering Authority within the text box provided. It is a compulsory field and may contain maximum of 256 characters.

Enter TIN number in the box provided. TIN number can contain maximum 10 characters long.

Enter TAN number in the box provided. TAN number can contain maximum 10 characters long. (Either of Sl. Nos. 5 or 6 is required)

Enter complete address of the Agency. Address 1 is mandatory and it can contain maximum of fifty characters long.

Address 2 and 3 are optional fields. Agency must fill these text boxes if agency’s address exceeds Address 1text box.

Enter City name within the text box provided. City may be a mandatory field and it can contain maximum 25 characters.

Select an option from the State sink list. State is a mandatory field.

Select an option from the District sink list. District is also a mandatory field.

Enter Pin Code within the text box provided. Pin Code may be a mandatory field and it should contain exactly 6 characters.

Enter name of the Contact Person within the text box provided.

Enter telephone number within the text box provided. Phone number may be a mandatory field and it can contain maximum 20 characters. Phone number should start with Country Code (91 for India) and therefore the STD code should be entered without 0.

Enter Alternate telephone number within the text box provided. Alternate telephone number is an optional field and it can contain maximum 20 characters.

Enter a legitimate E mail id within the text box provided. E mail may be a mandatory field and it can contain maximum of fifty characters. Log in details of the registered agency are going to be sent to the present e mail id only.

Type Unique Agency Code within the text box provided. Unique Agency Code is generated by the system. Agency should write this number for further reference.

Type the Word Verification letters within the text box provided. It is a compulsory field and agency registration process can’t be completed without filling this field.

Click Next button to proceed with the registration process. Scheme/Bank Details website appears on subsequent screen

Type the scheme code within the text box for scheme or click the Select Scheme hyperlink. Type the scheme code and the name of the scheme will appear. Once the scheme name is open, click and select the scheme.

If clicked on the select scheme hyperlink, the select scheme window opens on the screen.

Type a scheme name within the text box provided.

Click the Search button. A list of all schemes matching the search criteria will open.

Below the search button.

Click a scheme to pick it from the list.

Funding Agency: For the primary level agency that’s receiving fund from Central

Government, the funding agency by default is going to be selected as “I will receive funds

From Central Government” option

Type the first 4 letters of bank name in the text box provided or click the Select Bank hyperlink

.If the bank name is typed all banks beginning with the typed letters will appear. Select the

Appropriate bank from the list. Alternatively, click on the select bank hyperlink. The following

Select bank pop up window appears on the screen.

Type Bank Name in the text box provided.

Click the Search button.

A list of all banks matching the search standard will look.

Click a bank to select from the list.

Type Branch Address in the text box provided.

Click the Search Button. The branch name dropdown list gets updated.

To enter a branch name, select an option from the drop-down menu.

Enter Account Number in the text box provided. Account Number is a mandatory field.

Enter Agency name as per Bank record within the text box provided.

Click Add Bank/Scheme button.

The Scheme Bank details get added to the list.

Select the Accept Terms and conditions checkbox.

Click the Submit button. Saved successfully message will appear on the screen. If the

Agency is receiving funds for quite one scheme, more scheme – bank details can be added.

In this way the primary level agency (Agencies receiving fund directly from Central Ministries)

Gets registered in PFMS. The registered agent must be approved by the Programmed

Division (PD) and therefore the Principal Accounts Office of the Ministry Implementing the Scheme Concerned.

How to check money without registering.

First type “PFMS” in the Google search box then search

Click on the first link of Google search results and you will find it on the home page of the official website.

 Click there to get an option to know your payments.

On the new page you will need to enter your bank name and number.

First enter the name of the bank, and then fill in your account number.

You will need to re-enter to confirm your account number.

Then you will see the captcha below. The characters that appear in this captcha will be filled.

This time click on the search option. You will see if there is money in your account.

If you do not have money in your account, you can see not found.
